Ink Cartridge, Toner Cartridge, Fax Cartridge, Copier CartridgeHi ,I don’t know about you, but I squeeze a penny pretty hard. And if necessary, I will expend quite a bit of effort to accomplish that.But sometimes, the easy way, is the least expensive way. I’m going to let you in on a “most embarrassing moment” of mine that I think you will get a kick out of as I explain my point.A few weeks ago, I was helping my son work on his science project. We had worked all weekend to make a model of a gold atom and were down to the final part of the project, the poster. All that was left to do was print out his report and graphics to be pasted on the poster, but when we went to print it out, we got the dreaded “PRINT CARTRIDGE LOW” message.Easy enough, just open the printer and insert a new cartridge! But when I opened my cabinet to pull out a new cartridge, I found it was empty. Now imagine that! Here I am in the business of ink, and I don’t have any ink cartridges for my home printer.Of course, my son’s project is due the next morning, so I had two options. One was to drive the twenty something miles to my warehouse and pick up a cartridge. The other was to drive to the local office supply store and buy one.Trust me, this was not an easy decision to make. Reluctantly, I decided to go to the local mega office supply store because I was pressed for time.Wow! What an ordeal. First I sat in traffic for what seemed forever. Next I couldn’t find the cartridges in the store. Once I did find them, I realized that the item I needed was locked behind a glass window. (And at those prices you can almost understand why!) To add insult to injury, I couldn’t find a salesperson to help me.And finally I stood in line, red faced, waiting to pay for the over-priced cartridge.The moral of the story is sometimes it’s easier to save money by doing it the smart way…..Plan ahead and buy it online at Inkers!I will close by saying, don’t be like me. Instead, check your stock of printer supplies now.
