Keep The Kids Busy With Haunt The House
<img src=”http://www.krisabel.ctv.ca/image.axd?picture=2010%2f10%2fhauntthehouse.jpg” alt=”Haunt The House” width=”160″ height=”112″ align=”right” />A very creative take on the Halloween theme, <a href=”http://armorgames.com/play/7195/haunt-the-house” target=”_blank”>Haunt The House</a> is a game where you control a ghost living in a large mansion. Midnight approaches and you need your peaceful rest, but there are thirty people roaming about the building making that difficult. What a pain the living can be. Your task is to follow the about, inhabiting the furniture and household objects to transform them into moving scares and frighten the good folks from one room to another until they leave the house. Can you get rid of them all before the witching hour? Unlike many Halloween games which can seemed rushed or based on cheap scares, a lot of effort went into Haunt The House for it's artwork, music, and fun concept.

The upload-your-photo website is surprisingly good at creating the transformation, using face detection software to do all the work for you. You don't need to make any adjustments and even photos where your face is at a slight angle works. It maps all the effects to your facial features for you in quick time and the results look really, really good.

Sears Goes All Out For Halloween With Shopping SIte For Zombies
<img src=”http://www.krisabel.ctv.ca/image.axd?picture=2010%2f10%2fsearszombie.jpg” alt=”Zombie Sears” width=”114″ height=”160″ align=”right” />No, not the aimless people you see shopping in department stores on regular days, but zombies, the living dead of late night fun, have their own <a href=”http://www.sears.com:80/shc/s/dap_10153_12605_DAP_Zombie?adCell=W2#” target=”_blank”>shopping experience set aside </a>for them at Sears. The site takes the store's regular catalog and puts on a spin on removing stains, keeping brains cool, and reviving that dated, cemetery look. You can switch the language to "zombian" as you browse, check out a series of promo videos, build your own zombie best friend, and even "like" your favorite chainsaw. The strange thing about the whole promotion? It brings about the satire that made Dawn of the Dead so brilliantly aimed at consumer culture full circle, and well, even more poignant.

Ultimate Gamer’s Costume For Halloween – See-Through Shirt

He's turned it into a costume shirt for the video game Portal where characters move through puzzle-like complexes by creating holes that teleport them into to hard-to-reach areas. Three Kids Lead Into Simulated Zombie Attack
The parents I've spoken to tell me that zombies are very popular amongst the wee folk, that it's not just teens and adults who have become infected by zombie culture. Perhaps that explains this elaborate sequence from a Japanese television show in which actors and crew put on a fairly convincing attack on the streets for three little kids who are encouraged to play-act or accept it all as real. After the screaming and panic on the streets, a host leads the kids to retreat into a nearby apartment where they are given traps and weapons to fight against a moaning, shuffling zombie out to get them. A little overboard? Would a more friendlier monster have been any more traumatic? Your task is to explore the night time world of monsters and creepy characters to light up hidden pumpkins. Watch out, there's more than pumpkins to find. If you're wondering about the store itself, I've dealt with BuyCostumes each year for Halloween and yes, they do ship to Canada and both their costumes and props are top notch and easy for me to recommend.

I've received a number of requests for fun Halloween games this week, including several from people looking for the wisecracking Halloween Hangman game I featured years ago, so I've gathered up five fun, free Halloween games that suitable for all ages. Presented as a storybook with fantastic illustrations and a charming soundtrack, you must compare the two pictures using a two-cursor system and click on the differences to score points. When you do, they will fade, allowing you to concentrate only on the remainders.
